Now, about hummingbirds…

Okay, I have been a little worried lately that I haven’t been the most positive on my blog.
I have come off as a bit of a downer and someone who is highly insecure, which is not how I really am.
In fact, I spend most of my time smiling.
So…Now, when I realized that I wanted to write about a more uplifting subject, I started to think about what I could write about.
I came up with nothing.
One thing I have noticed about blogging is when I am actively looking for something to talk about…nothing.
Whereas when I am going about my life, I get tons of things I want to talk about and most of those ideas never actually make my blog.
The blogging struggle is real!

So, I actually went around asking some of my coworkers what they thought I should write about. I mean, what else was I supposed to do.
I have to say something here!
Most of my coworkers came back saying that they didn’t know and that’s why they didn’t have a blog, so they wouldn’t have to think about things to write about.
….
I refuse to respond to that.

Well, finally one of my favorite people at work responded to me with this:

Corrie  2:30 PM
What should I blog about?
Tim  2:31 PM
hummingbirds
Corrie Kartchner 2:31 PM
Haha, I will take it
It’s random, but I like it.
And hummingbirds are definitely happy.
But I feel like just him saying that was enough to make me happy. Where did he get that from? And he replied like immediately with that?
I love his mind.
He is one of those people who are such boys. Everything they do is just the essence of a boy. (Not a man, like he’s super manly, but like my brother’s almost)
Anyways, a hummingbird has the highest metabolism of all animals and live about 3 to 5 years. Also, apparently some hummingbirds have purple streaks.
Which is most important when deciding what color to use to camouflage yourself.
I read a lot of other things, but it’s difficult to incorporate them into real life.
This is a post about hummingbirds and it’s happier than my last post.
So, here we are.
You can’t see me wink.
