Is it just me, or at about one in the afternoon every single day, you start to get tired. Like suddenly your energy is all spent and it’s Nap Time. I swear, I feel like I’m going to pass out right now. I need my second wind, or to get up and stretch or something.
I have two theories:
- Well, lunch just happened. And usually being full makes people tired and lethargic. It’s science. Although at lunch you get free rein and you can talk and joke around and break up the work day, so maybe that theory doesn’t work. Or maybe all that joking around at lunch is what makes you tired?
- I also think this is a direct result of upbringing. Think about it, from the moment we are born til we go to kindergarten, we get a nap time. In the early afternoon, we get to lay down and regain our strength so we can make it through the rest of the day. We did this for about 5 to 6 years, don’t you think that became a habit? I say yes. And even though it’s been awhile, I still would be willing to start-up that habit again.
Basically I’m just super tired right now, I’m gonna stand up and stretch for a moment. Hopefully that helps. It won’t help with the itch on my back though. Dangit.Follow @corzgalore
